About
👋 Christina Turner is a designer and artist in Akron, OH.
😅 Has she always had too much going on? Yes, of course.
Christina earned her B.F.A. in Printmaking, with a minor in Philosophy, from the University of Akron Myers School of Art in 2012.
She earned her M. S. in User Experience Design from Kent State University in 2024.
She co-owned FORUM artspace in the 78th Street Studios from 2011-2015.
She served on the Board of Directors for SPACES in Cleveland, OH from 2014- 2020.
She currently serves on the Board of UX Akron.
She led art workshops throughout the Akron-Summit County Library system for ten years, including Doodling for Stress Relief, Watercolor & Gouache Painting, Potato Printing, and Pour Painting.
And she built her first weblog on Xanga in 2002. (See this blog post.) (And this lament from a kindred soul on Reddit.) (And this amazing book, Everything I Need I Get From You.)
